We just received an update from the National Weather Service LA/Oxnard on the storm. Here's what you need to know⬇️

☔ Predicted rain totals?

•We're still expecting 1-3 inches of rain along the coast and 3-6 inches in the mountains and foothills.

•The heaviest rain in Montecito will be overnight tonight and through noon Tuesday.

•Rain rates are forecast to be 0.33-0.66 inches per hour. Isolated rain rates of 1 inch per hour are possible.

💨 Winds?

•Gusty winds will develop ahead of the heaviest rain. Winds gusts of 30-50mph are possible.

🌊Surf?

•High Surf Advisory is in effect through Tuesday night for large, breaking waves 5-9ft & strong rip.

⚠️ Impacts?

•We do NOT anticipate major impacts in Montecito and we do NOT plan to issue any evacuations.

•The rain totals and duration of this storm do NOT meet the thresholds to trigger debris flow or severe flooding.

•The Thomas Fire burn area is not at risk of major flooding or debris flow, however, an Evacuation Order has been issued for those who live near the Alisal Fire burn scar.

•Sand, sandbags, and shovels are available at Lower Manning Park for community members to fill sandbags.

•Drive safely on the wet roads & stay dry!
